Ms Michelle Razo has been invited as an international guest speaker at the 2026 International Hand & Wrist Congress and Hand Therapy Symposium. The event takes place on 13 and 14 November 2026 at the Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, bringing together Hand Therapists and upper limb surgeons from across the world.

Ms Razo’s sessions

Ms Razo presents across both days of the Hand Therapy Symposium, leading four sessions:

  • Flexor Tendon Rehabilitation
  • Extensor Tendon Rehabilitation
  • Decoding the Wrist: Differential Diagnosis Workshop
  • Orthotic Fabrication Workshop

Her sessions span the breadth of upper limb rehabilitation, from tendon injury rehabilitation regimes to differential diagnosis of the wrist and hands-on orthotic fabrication. Across the two days she pairs lecture-based teaching with practical workshops, sharing the clinical reasoning and techniques that run through her practice and teaching.

An international faculty

The symposium brings together a faculty drawn from the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, Qatar and South Africa, reflecting the international reach of the event. The programme is chaired by Mr Mohamud Amin of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. It is supported by the Emirates Medical Association and the Emirates Hand Surgery Society.

Ms Razo’s role as an international guest speaker, with sessions and workshops across both days, reflects her standing as a specialist educator within the international Hand Therapy community and adds to a growing portfolio of speaking and teaching engagements worldwide.
