Hand Therapy
Specialist Hand Therapy assessment and treatment delivered in the comfort of your own home. Available across Belfast and North Down for patients who are unable to attend the clinic in-person.
The same quality of care,
wherever you need it
Getting to a clinic is not always straightforward. For some patients, mobility difficulties, a lack of transport or the demands of recovery make travelling to an appointment genuinely difficult. Ms Razo's home visit service removes that barrier without any reduction in the standard of care.
A home Hand Therapy appointment is not a reduced or simplified version of a clinic visit. Ms Razo brings the same expertise, the same clinical approach and all the equipment needed to assess, diagnose if required and treat your condition — in your own home, at a time that suits you.
For patients whose hand, wrist or upper limb condition makes travelling to a clinic uncomfortable or impractical, home therapy removes that barrier entirely.
Older patients who find clinic attendance difficult can receive the same quality of specialist care in familiar surroundings.
Home visits are available for patients across Belfast and North Down who do not have reliable access to transport and would otherwise struggle to attend in-person.
Following surgery attending a clinic can be difficult, particularly in the early weeks of recovery. Home therapy allows treatment to begin promptly without added strain.
For patients with multiple conditions or significant functional limitations, a home visit allows Ms Razo to assess the patient in context and tailor treatment accordingly.
Those who cannot easily leave home can access specialist Hand Therapy without having to make alternative arrangements.
Everything you would
expect from a clinic visit
Ms Razo brings all the equipment needed for a full appointment. The following services and treatments are all available during a home visit.
A comprehensive evaluation in your own home covering clinical history, range of movement, strength testing and functional ability. Ms Razo brings the same structured assessment protocols used in-clinic to every home visit.
A clear explanation of your diagnosis and a personalised treatment plan agreed with you. Home visits are not a reduced service — Ms Razo applies the same clinical reasoning and expertise as an in-clinic appointment.
Custom, thermoplastic orthoses can be fabricated and fitted during a home visit. Ms Razo brings the materials and equipment required to make and adjust splints on-site.
Rehabilitation programmes are demonstrated in-person and provided in writing. Ms Razo will ensure you can perform your all prescribed tasks safely and confidently.
Post-surgical or post-injury wound care and scar management treatment delivered at home, reducing the need for clinic attendance during the early recovery period.
Progress reviews and follow-up appointments can also be arranged as home visits, allowing continuity of care without disruption to recovery or daily routine.
