Where imaging is needed to confirm a diagnosis, Ms Razo can arrange private X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound referrals with appointments often available within 24 to 48 hours. No GP referral required.
Diagnosis without
the wait
Getting the right diagnosis quickly is central to effective treatment. When clinical assessment indicates that imaging would provide useful diagnostic information, Ms Razo can refer directly to a leading private imaging provider with convenient centres across Northern Ireland with no GP referral required.
Imaging is not requested routinely. Ms Razo will recommend it only when she considers it clinically necessary to confirm or refine a diagnosis. Results are reviewed and discussed with you and integrated into your overall treatment plan.
Used to assess bone structure, alignment and joint spaces. Commonly requested following fractures, dislocations, arthritis and suspected bony abnormalities of the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow and shoulder.
Provides detailed imaging of soft tissue structures including tendons, ligaments, nerves and cartilage. Particularly useful for TFCC injuries, nerve conditions, tendon pathology and cases where a soft tissue diagnosis needs confirmation.
A dynamic imaging option for assessing tendons, ligaments and soft tissue masses in real time. Often used for conditions such as deQuervain's tenosynovitis, trigger finger and ganglion cysts.
Computed tomography provides detailed cross-sectional imaging of bone and joint structures. Particularly useful for complex fractures, scaphoid injuries and cases where X-ray findings are inconclusive.

The imaging pathway is straightforward. Ms Razo handles the referral and ensures results are reviewed and acted on as part of your ongoing care.
Ms Razo carries out a full clinical assessment. If imaging is needed to confirm the diagnosis, she will explain why and discuss which type of scan is most appropriate.
Ms Razo issues the referral directly to a private imaging centre. Appointments are typically available within 24 to 48 hours at a convenient location across Northern Ireland.
You attend the imaging centre at the agreed time. The scan is carried out by qualified radiographers and reported by a specialist radiologist.
Once results are available, Ms Razo reviews them and discusses the findings with you. The results are incorporated into your diagnosis and treatment plan.

You do not need to be an existing patient. If you would like an imaging referral, simply book a consultation with Ms Razo. She will carry out a clinical assessment and arrange imaging if she considers it appropriate. New patients are welcome.
